RT Institute of Technology respects the privacy of prospective students, students, parents, faculty, staff and website visitors. This policy explains what personal information the institute collects, how it is used, and the choices individuals have.

We collect information you actively provide (such as inquiry, application and contact form submissions), and standard technical data (such as pages viewed and approximate location) needed to operate and improve the website.

Personal information is used only for the purposes for which it was provided — responding to inquiries, evaluating applications, administering academic and student services, and communicating institutional updates. We do not sell personal information.

Personal information is retained only as long as required to fulfill the purpose it was collected for, or as required by applicable law. Individuals may request access, correction or deletion of their personal information by contacting the institute.

Applicants and students who wish to withdraw from a program must submit a written withdrawal request to the admissions office. Refund eligibility is determined based on the date the request is received relative to the start of the academic term.

Non-tuition administrative and application fees are generally non-refundable. Tuition refunds, where applicable, are processed within a reasonable time after the withdrawal is approved.

The specific refund schedule, including any pro-rated refunds for partial-term withdrawals, will be published in the official fee structure document and provided to students at the time of enrollment.

RT Institute of Technology is a community of students, faculty and staff committed to intellectual rigor, mutual respect and personal responsibility. Every member of the community is expected to act with honesty, integrity and courtesy.

Academic integrity is fundamental. Plagiarism, cheating, unauthorized collaboration, misrepresentation of academic work, and misuse of institutional systems are treated as serious violations.

Members of the community are expected to respect the rights, dignity and safety of others. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and physical or verbal abuse are not tolerated.

Violations of the code of conduct are addressed through a documented disciplinary process that respects due process and the rights of all parties involved.

RT Institute of Technology has a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging in any form, on or off campus. Ragging includes any act that causes physical or psychological harm, humiliation, embarrassment, or apprehension in another student.

The institute maintains a clearly identified anti-ragging committee and grievance channel accessible to all students. Complaints are handled with confidentiality, fairness and urgency.

Discrimination or harassment on the basis of gender, race, religion, caste, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or socio-economic background is strictly prohibited.

Confirmed violations result in strict disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or expulsion, in accordance with the institute's disciplinary process and applicable law.
